Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference

Founded in 1920, the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) is composed of 13 private undergraduate colleges across Minnesota. The MIAC sponsors championships in 24 sports, and has grown to be recognized as one of the toughest NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletic conferences in the country—its top teams are always nationally ranked and in the hunt for NCAA championships. Not only is athletic prowess the norm, the MIAC annually attracts many of the nation's top student-athletes. The conference prides itself on allowing athletes to be students first, yet still have the opportunity to reach any height to which their athletic abilities take them.
