The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) is one of the most unique at the Division III level, covering a region more comparable to a Division I conference. The conference’s 10 member institutions represent seven different states (Kentucky, Indiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas). The SCAC sponsors conference championships in 18 sports, and member institutions excel at the national level. The SCAC annually sends numerous teams and individuals to NCAA championships with success, including 44 teams last season.
