Moravian College, founded in 1742, is recognized as the sixth oldest college in the United States. Moravian is a selective four-year liberal arts private college.

Costs and Aid
2004-2005: $30,884 comprehensive ($23,184 tuition); 80% of students receive some financial aid. The average award for 2002-03 was $14,549, which includes Moravian and government resources and all types of aid awarded: grants, loans and work.
More Distinctions:
· Moravian College was first recognized as one of Princeton Review’s “Best 351 Colleges” in 2003. Moravian was one of five schools recognized in the regional guidebook series.
· In the last five years, Moravian has produced four Fulbright scholars, a Goldwater scholar, and a Rhodes finalist.
· Internationally renowned College Choir tours throughout the United States and abroad. The college has a music program that is fully-accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
· Moravian offers scholarships for high achieving students. The Comenius Medallion Scholarship gives full tuition to students who rank in the top 5% of their high school class and achieve a score of at least 1450 on the SAT. Others include the Comenius Scholarship, the Trustee Scholarship, and the Founders Scholarship. |
