Mission

Northfield, Minnesota which is approximately 40 miles south of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.

· U.S. News and World Report ranked Carleton 4th in its annual rankings of the best colleges in the nation. This was the 3rd consecutive year Carleton ranked in the top five liberal arts colleges and the 8th consecutive year in the top ten.
