Schreiner University is a four year private university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, founded in 1923.
Mission
As a university committed to the liberal arts as fundamental to education and committed to its affiliation with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Schreiner is dedicated to excellence in preparing students to live purposeful, humane and productive lives in their work, faith groups, families and communities. Schreiner is dedicated primarily to educating undergraduate students in the liberal arts, sciences, and professional disciplines, preparing them for entry into specific careers and graduate or professional programs.

More Distinctions
• Courtesy of numerous donor's and supporter's gifts amounting to $2.2 million, Schreiner completed the re-dedication of its Moody Science Building in the fall of 2004.
• The Hill Country College Fund recently met its $525,000 goal to provide need-based tuition assistance to high school students from local counties.
• Schreiner is hosting the Greystone Preparatory School, a one-year program designed specifically to prepare students for qualification into one of the five U.S. Service Academies. |
