Wilkes competes in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), a grouping of 16 schools located exclusively in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Because of the size of the MAC, two sub-conferences exist, of which Wilkes belongs to the Freedom Conference. Wilkes has seven men’s varsity teams who all are competitive in both the Freedom and MAC. The basketball, baseball, and tennis teams have enjoyed recent success, finishing at or near the top of the Freedom Conference.
