The Athenas offer a unique athletic program that brings student-athletes at three neighboring colleges, Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Scripps, to compete on unified athletic teams. The formula is successful as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) has the most wins out of all conference programs in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). The men’s program has won 147 SCIAC titles since its inception, more than any other SCIAC school during this same period by 36, with the women’s program winning 55 SCIAC titles. CMS is the only team in the SCIAC which has won a conference title in each sport, winning in each of the 19 sports offered at least twice. The program has been successful in recent year, finishing 10-3 and 10-4 in 2003 and 2004, respectively. |

Softball Head Coach: Andrea Kenney, andrea.kenney@cms.claremont.edu, (909) 607-8613 After an average 2003 season, finishing around .500, the Athenas came out strong in 2004 and finished 2nd in the SCIAC with a 25-9 overall record.
